It’s a widespread misconception that individuals in nursing home facilities have all their personal needs covered. These facilities only offer room and board, often lacking the necessary funding to provide essentials such as clothing, hairbrushes, warm blankets, shoes, and more. Medicaid covers just sixty percent of the total care cost, highlighting the substantial gap in funding for these crucial items.
